Halloween Party!

I helped at the girls' Halloween school party and it was so much fun!

But, boy I was exhausted after being with 19 kindergartens for 2 hours!!

So happy the party was a success and the kids had a ton of fun.

I have a new respect for Kindergarten teachers...they are amazing!

Trick-or-Treat!

Halloween was a success in the Gruber Household!

It was so much FUN!

We all dressed up, even Todd!  The girls begged us to dress up with them, so I figured they are

only going to want us to dress up for a few more years, we better do it!

Family Halloween 2012:

{Their costume was so easy to make.  I will post the how to later.}

I was their 'Gardener'.  

{This was a last minute costume yesterday morning at 9AM...the Goodwill was good to me, I found overalls, rain boots and my hat all for 10 bucks!}

Todd was a baseball player, not sure how we picked up a random ball player, but it worked!

All those girls are twins!  So much fun to have great friends and they are all twin girls!

Bella

 

January 2003-October 2012 

We had to put Bella down this weekend.  

It was very, very hard and still is.

I know we did the right thing, because she was really sick and had heart failure.

But, it still has been a very difficult weekend around here.

I miss her in the house, in the yard, I miss her everywhere. 

Mornings and nights are the worst around the house without her.  

I just keep looking for her when I walk up the stairs or in the backyard, just about anywhere.

My heart hurts, but I know she is in a better place.

She was the BEST dog a family could have.

 

Our family of five as now become a family of four and it just doesn't feel right.

If you have a furry friend, give them an extra cuddle today, because you just never know 

when they will be gone.

 

Kindergarten is Awesome!

Those were the words right out of Mara's mouth yesterday after school!

I LOVED hearing that!!!

The first day of Kindergarten was a success for us all.

There were no tears, just a lot of smiles and excitement!

I am going to get back to blogging again, now that I have time again and the house is quiet.

I have a list of projects to work on and I can't wait to get started on them.
